What have you been up to of late?

I hope life is treating you well.

I have been trying to finish my edits for my WIP, 

yet characters are stubborn creatures. 

The captain says the ship doesn't move until problems 

with the Z-ship gets worked out.

Aye ye swarthy mates, you might creep away for a time,

 but you will be back at the boards.

That or a plank with ye.

 Aye, but Captain, there is no plank!

We will use the brig then.

Aye, but Captain, there is no brig.

We have airlocks!

Aye, but we all be sucked out to space.

Is there no pleasin' you man?

Get to the boards ye toothless beggard.

One must threaten the jolly whip on this bunch.


Aye indeed. Typing typing...waiting for the new equipment to come, so we do not get the dreaded black screen again....sigh. Just think, a computer fast enough to keep up with my characters. . .what a divine thought.

Now if only the caffeine would work and get the brain to rowin' we might be gettin' somewhere.
What? Did I forget your tea? How thoughtless of me. Do pardon. Here, have your fill while I roam over to the boards to thwack on my stubborn crew.
